His direct experience with the Hotel operational departments such as Food and Beverage, Front Office and Housekeeping expanded his view and opened his mind for the numerous possibilities of personalized services and focus on enchantment of guests in this industry.
Chef Amitava Chakraborty has passed out from Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Taratala, Kolkata.Completed diploma in French and German language. Learnt Spanish while he was in Mexico. Being selected in campus interview by Taj Group, joined first in Taj Bengal. Worked in Taj Bengal hotel for 3years. Then joined in Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Miami, USA. Roamed almost all the famous cities of Europe and both North & Latin America. Got exposure in various cuisines to work under famous Chefs of respective country. Had specialization in French cuisine, Spanish, Italian, Caribbean, Greek, Lebanese and Turkish cuisines. Also delivers North Indian and Bengali cuisines in Taj Group.
Chef Chanchal Datta is working with Chef Shaun Kenworthy since 2015 and took a new challenge with "Vegetarian and Fusion" and open "Hakuna Matata" Park Street, Kolkata. A humble, no worried place own by Ms. Pallavi and Mr. Prabhash with agreed to go above high sky to do with the vegetarian food and its fusion.
